I have automatic updates and as of the most recent update, the app now crashes when I try to make a cinemagraph!!! Please fix and I will change star rating

Masking, amongst other things, kills this app. Please fix. Thanks.

this app can only edit 40 frames of the gif I bought it in order to edit. needs to be able to import larger gifs.

ok at making gifs look good pretty fast but if you want to share on FB you are basically creating an ad for the app on your timeline. i thought i was was paying 2.99 to avoid that kind of bs. be warned. they could have easily made a clean gif link for sharing but had to be greedy and waste my money to buy their app. bye!

Need to improve on resolution, and orientate screen option, and also allow the consumer to crop instead of auto cropping. Update: since the last 9.1 update its worse than ever always force closing laggin

The app cant seem to stay active long enough to actually create a gif and whats with charging $2.99 for an app and adding on a $.99 pro option? Thats shady. I think Ill need to ask for a refund. Too bad, the part that I got to see before it crashed seemed well thought out.

Gifffer is a great app, it does exactly what its supposed to do quickly and cleanly. Other gif apps that Ive paid for, and briefly used (they will remain nameless) have been disappointing or even downright annoying, especially compared to giffer. I use it almost daily and it has never let me down.

Cant copy and paste. It was such a lovely app for keeping all of my gifs to iMessage friends. Now I cant copy and paste to my conversations any more

I appreciate the ability to organize in folders

It locks up, it freezes, it is jerky, misses frames due to those issues. Still with 3.5 version same issues. I have both pro version and regular which was upgraded to pro. Both are junk right now. Until developer fixes it, stay a way. Use to be good, not so much right now.

The output quality is less than many other gif apps. HD pics become pixelated.. Many crashes, one of which stripped the gif i was re-editingon from all frames bar one.. The last two updates i cant update the app on either my iphone or ipad...it reverts back to Update a few seconds after clickd.. I also cant write a review under the giffer pro, it says i cannot write if i dont own the app...what gives?! Stability and quality of output however is the main issues We can only pray for Taber to nail it right

What can I say about giffer? The bottom line is that It is utterly fantastic in every way possible, and somehow, its creator, the great Taber Buhl, manages to make it better and better with every update. Seriously, this is my favorite app hands down. It has added to my life immeasurably for the past 3 years. The app started off pretty good and over time became nothing less than great. Its dedicated creator is without a doubt a genius. He has designed giffer with a beautiful and intuitive interface that allows us to create flawless gifs with ease and stability and innumerable and always expanding functions. Tabers attentiveness is unparalleled, he personally answers answers emails and if there is ever a bug, squashes them faster than apps with entire teams behind them none the less one super talented programmer and designer. Creations fills our lives with meaning and Mr.Buhl has created an beautiful app that makes creating gifs easier than ever before. Over time the apps functionality has grown tremendously and continues to do so. With this app you have the full suite of tools you need to create and share gifs the way you want. I have always really appreciated that giffer allows you to share gifs without forcing you to connect with other social media outlets while still offering the option to do so if youd like. There is no other gif creation app in the iTunes App Store that comes close to offering the functionality, ease and beautiful design of Giffer. If you were at all conflicted about which app to download you neednt be, this is without a doubt the one you want. Its worth every penny, in fact, its probably worth more. Ive made literally thousands of Gifs with Giffer, and bar-none it is the best animated Gif creating tool (and interface) I have used on any device. That being said, It is not perfect, nor ideal... yet. I put off writing a review for long time, 2+ years, didnt even bother me that much to "maybe later" the pop-up in the premium version for all that time because I was happily Giffing away. And I am glad I did wait, because the app has been steadily and continually improving over the time Ive used it, evolving in parallel with my Gif-crafting skills. Again, not ideal, yet also not overly limited or buggy and well worth the modest "pro" price. From my understanding, the developer(s) is responsive to requests and grievances, and proficient at his trade. Ive been in the IT industry for nearly 19 years, much of the time in Dev and QA teams, and fully appreciate the efforts and skills of the developer(s) and designers of Giffer. Keep up the great work! For reference, 99% of the Gifs I make with Giffer are original content and are made from series of still pictures of my own, including photo bursts, which have recently been included in the source image pick-list (awesome, thank you!). I do make the occasional Gif from vid, but prefer the stop-motion, cinematic feel that comes from using higher quality source images and stitching them together. Of the thousands of Gifs Ive made, only a handful have been limited by the 80-frame limit. Still a bummer, but I think it may be a memory or iOS limitation. Giffer video edit is capable as well, in my limited experience, and appears only to be limited by memory/frame constraints and compression. Most of my biggest gripes have been resolved, and this review is long enough as it is, but there are a few key limitations I would love to see addressed sooner, rather than later. •Arbitrary or free-form rotation - much needed and seemingly difficult on iOS. Ive had to hone my photography to make up for this limitation, or rotate in a separate app. The former is a good thing, the latter not so much. •Increased resolution of rendered Gif - I presume this is a limitation of memory allocation and upper frame limit. I would prefer the ability to decrease frame numbers and increase resolution of final Gif. Gotta roll, will attempt to update this as the app progresses. Ive tried many different apps, but this has to be the best one! There is so much versatility you can do and with the latest update its even better! I love that I can save the giffs into a video now so I can share to Instagram! I recommend this app definitely. Thanks guys

This app has had a few crashers and issues but the developer has stuck with it and Giffer is now a great app with pro features. Its nice to see a developer stick with it and produce something great.

Other aspect ratios would be a good idea, other than that its one of my favorite apps!
